EGYPT The official language is Arabic.
EL SALVADOR The official language is Spanish.
ETHIOPIA More than 100 languages are spoken in Ethiopia. The official language is Amharic, the language of the Amhara ruling class, spoken by approximately 40% of the population. Other languages spoken by a significant proportion of the population are Tigrinya and Oromo (related to Somali).
FINLAND The official languages are Finnish and Swedish.
FRANCE The official language is French.
GABON The official language is French.
GAMBIA The official language is English. The most common native languages are Fulani, Malinke and Wolof.
GERMANY The official language is German.
GREECE The official language is Greek.
GREENLAND The official language is Danish.
GUADELOUPE The official language is French. A small number of individuals may speak Creole Patois.
GUATEMALA The official language is Spanish. A large number of native dialects are also spoken.
GUINEA The official language is French.
HAITI The official languages are French and Creole.
HONDURAS The official language is Spanish. As with all Latin American nations, there are also many Amerindian languages and dialects.
HONG KONG The official languages are Chinese (Cantonese dialect) and English.
HUNGARY The official language is Hungarian (Magyar).
ICELAND The official language is Icelandic.
INDIA As stated on the currency, there are 15 official languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telegu, Urdu. These are largely regional languages, most of which are completely distinct from one another. The true national language of India (aside from English) is Hindi. It is the primary language of one third of the population and the second language for most. However, a reputable interpreting service should be able to provide specialist speakers of the most common official languages.
INDONESIA The official language is Bahasa Indonesian (a form of Malay). English and Dutch are also commonly spoken languages.
IRAN The official language is Farsi (also known as Persian). Minority communities of Iranian origin may speak their own regional languages. The most common in the U.K. is Kurdish Sorani.
IRAQ The official language is Arabic. Minority communities also may speak Kurdish Sorani or Assyrian.
IRELAND Irish (Gaelic) and English.
ISRAEL The official languages are Hebrew and Arabic.
ITALY The official language is Italian.
IVORY COAST The official language is French. In addition, at least 50 native languages are also spoken.
