HITS to deliver face-to-face interpreting throughout Oxfordshire

Interpreter Recruitment

We welcome applications to join our register of professional interpreters and translators from those who possess the following qualifications:

Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (Oral/Practical minimum)

Diploma in Translation

BSL Level 4

Lipspeaking Level 3

 

We also welcome applications from NRPSI members in rare languages.

 

Although we are always happy to hear from individuals who have achieved the Level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting, our Service policy is to use those who are formally qualified at Level 6 or who have passed our own DPSI-standard assessment. We would strongly advise Level 3 interpreters who wish to work for our Service to apply to join our training programme.
